The Greenwich Family YMCA has served the Greenwich community for over 87 years, and currently serves over 6,000 members through its programs. Some of the programs are listed below.
Ridgefield Academy is a not-for-profit, non-denominational, coeducational day school for children from age 3 through eighth grade founded in 1975. The Academy offers a broad-based, challenging curriculum enhanced by a wide variety of extracurricular activities in athletics, the arts and community service.
Project: The Series E bonds funded campus improvements of approximately $11.5 million and $15 million to refund a portion of the University’s Series D Bonds. Series F bond proceeds were used to advance refund the 1996 Series D bonds.
Wesleyan University is an independent, non-profit, coeducational, non-sectarian institution of higher education located in the City of Middletown. Wesleyan confers only one undergraduate degree, that of Bachelor of Arts, but offers nine programs leading to the Master of Arts degree and six programs leading to the Doctor of Philosophy.
Backus is a short-term, not-for-profit, acute care hospital located in Norwich and is the only state designated trauma center in eastern Connecticut. The Hospital is licensed for 213 beds and 20 bassinets and currently staffs 163 beds. Backus provides a comprehensive array of vital healthcare services including: cancer services, including radiation therapy; cardiac care, including diagnostic catheterization; diabetes management, including wound care with hyperbaric oxygen therapy; and outpatient surgery.
The Central Connecticut Coast YMCA is a nonprofit community-based organization devoted to building the spiritual, mental and physical well being of children, families and communities. The Central Connecticut Coast YMCA, Inc. was formed through a merger of the New Haven and Bridgeport YMCAs in 1994.
Chase Collegiate School is the product of the merger of two distinguished schools, St. Margaret's and The McTernan School. The School changed its name in 2005 to Chase Collegiate School, which honors the origins of both original schools and emphasizes the School’s commitment to prepare its students for college and beyond.
The Connecticut Children’s Medical Center is a 123 licensed bed pediatric hospital in Hartford. It is the only hospital in Connecticut devoted exclusively to children, and in 1996 consolidated programs previously provided by Hartford Hospital, John Dempsey Hospital and Newington Children’s Hospital.
